Terms
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Oister when you use oisterai.com, the free scan and the Oister app. By creating an account or running a scan you agree to them.
The short version: $9 for the first month, then $69 a month until you cancel, which takes two clicks. Oister never changes your site. It finds problems and tells you how to fix them; you decide what to change. Nobody can promise you a place on Google, and we do not.
1. Who we are
Oister ("we", "us") is based in Cyprus. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 to create an account.
- Give a real email address. We send your sign-in links, receipts and notices about your plan to it.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account. If you think someone else has got in, change your password and tell us.
- One person or business per account. Do not resell access.
3. Price, renewal and tax
Monthly plan. Your first month costs $9. After that the plan renews automatically every month at $69 for one site, charged to the card you gave, until you cancel. The first-month price is once per person and per business; a new account or a new email does not get it again.
Yearly plan. $690 a year for one site, renewing automatically every year until you cancel. We email you before each yearly renewal with the date and the amount.
Extra sites. $19.99 a month for each site beyond the one included, on the monthly plan. They renew with your plan and stop when you remove them.
Reminder. Three days before your $9 month ends, we email you that it is about to become $69 a month, with a link to cancel.
Tax. Prices exclude VAT and sales tax. Where they apply, they are added at checkout and shown before you pay. A business with a valid EU or UK VAT number pays no VAT.
Price changes. We can change the price for the future. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, our payment processor tries again for a while. If it still fails, the plan ends and your account goes back to the free scan.
4. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time in Settings, in two clicks, on the billing page. You do not need to call or email anyone. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then stops; you are not charged again.
We do not refund the rest of a month or year you have already started, except where the law requires it or below.
If you live in the EU or the UK and buy as a consumer, you have 14 days from subscribing to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. Because Oister starts auditing your site as soon as you subscribe, at your request, if you withdraw within those 14 days we refund what you paid minus a share for the days you already had. To withdraw, email [email protected] or cancel in Settings and tell us you are withdrawing. We refund within 14 days, to the card you paid with.
5. The free scan
The free scan checks one homepage, without an account. It names the biggest problem it finds and counts the others. It is limited to 3 scans a day from one connection, so that it stays free. Results are kept for 30 days, as the privacy policy explains.
6. The sites you check
Only scan or add a site that you own, or that you have the owner's permission to check. You are responsible for having that permission.
Oister reads public pages the way a search engine does, up to 200 pages per site per run. It follows the site's robots.txt, does not log in, does not fill in forms and does not change anything on the site. If a site blocks it, we say so and stop.
Each site gets one run a week and 3 manual re-runs a week. You can change a site's address once every 30 days; changing it deletes that site's history.
7. The fixes, and the AI that writes them
Oister uses AI models to explain each problem and write its fix: a prompt to paste into an AI coding tool, plain steps, or both. AI makes mistakes. A fix can be incomplete, wrong for your setup, or break something when applied.
You decide what to change on your site. Read each fix before you use it, keep a backup or use version control, and check your site after a change. Oister never makes a change itself, and is not responsible for changes you or your tools make.
When a finding is a guess rather than a measurement (for example, we could not find a link to your About page), we say so. Keyword volumes, difficulty and rankings come from a data provider and are estimates.
8. No promise of rankings or traffic
Google and other search engines decide who ranks, and they change how they do it without notice. Oister helps you find and fix what is in your control. We do not promise any ranking, traffic, sales or result from using it, and nothing on our site is such a promise.
9. What you may not do
- Use Oister on sites you are not allowed to check.
- Use it for anything illegal, or to check sites that sell or promote something illegal where you or they operate.
- Get around the limits, for example by creating several accounts or scripting the free scan.
- Copy, resell or scrape the service, or try to break into it, test its security without our written permission, or overload it.
10. What belongs to whom
Your sites, and what you tell us about them, stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to run Oister for you, as the privacy policy describes.
The reports, fixes and prompts we make for you are yours to use on your own sites, during and after your plan. Oister itself, its software, design and name, stays ours.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
11. Changes to the service, and outages
We work to keep Oister running and improving, but cannot promise it will never be down or slow. We may change features over time. If we remove something important you pay for, we tell you first, and you can cancel. If we ever close Oister, we tell you at least 30 days ahead and refund any time you paid for and did not get.
12. If we suspend or close an account
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other people at risk. Unless the problem is serious or the law stops us, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. You can export your data from Settings and delete your account at any time.
13. Our liability
Oister is provided as it is, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost rankings, lost data or any indirect loss, or for changes made to your site.
Our total liability to you for anything to do with Oister is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud, for death or injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Cyprus, and its courts decide disputes. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law where you live, and can bring a claim in your own country's courts. Please email [email protected] first; most problems are fixed faster that way.
